Newcomers Maverick's were in action on Monday Night against a select team put together by Eggy G.

Eggy fielded his new summer signing Sal alongside a couple of trailist that he's eyeing up for the new season. Unfortunately for Sal, the trailist impressed more than LDT's new man.

Alan, who has now signed for The Maverick's, carried on his impressive season with his 5th consecutive Player Of The Match Award.

The Maverick's have joined the Big Bro Soccer Premier League next season and will be a force to reckoned with!  

Hera Pheri Win The Europa Cup Final Beating Stoaters In A Nail Biting 4-3 Win!

WHAT A GAME! Hera Pheri win the Europa Cup Trophy in the last minute of a wonderful game contested in front of a huge audience!

It was 3-3 going into the final few minutes. Stoaters only had one sub with star man Jav away watching Klopp's last game in Liverpool. 

Stoaters won a free kick on the edge of HP box when all the commotion started! Jav appears out of nowhere and starts to get changed in the car park! Stoaters captain Slim instructs his players to hold the free kick until Jav gets on the pitch.

Jav entered the play and almost immediately scores the winner with his first touch. Stoaters were on the ascendency however it wasn't to be as HP dispossessed Stoaters in the middle of the park leaving a 3 on 1 situation which was finished off beautifully into the top corner by Saad!

Congratulations to Mani and Hera Pheri!

Stoaters Captain Slim had this to say in his post match conference:

"Fine margins, both keepers were brilliant & kept the score down. What a great game, really intense! 2 Cup Finals this season, one trophy, 2 medals - Stoaters should be proud of their season."

Old Shieldz Run Riot!

The Old Shieldz put on a show as they ran riot in a 17 - 6 win over Stoaters! The ref had a tough time picking the Player Of The Match but eventually settled with Allan! Boca Seniors claimed a famous point against Eggy's G Le Dream Team in the lowest scoring match of the season 1-1. Mintit picked up a second consecutive Player of the Match Award playing in goal! Elsewhere, Hera Pheri beat Still Game as the continue to climb the table.

Last Minute Own Goal Shatter Le Dream Team Title Hopes!

This game premieres on YouTube at 7pm, Friday 10th May 2014

There was a huge build up to this match all week as the top 2 teams in the Over 35s went head to head on Wednesday night. 

Le Dream Team needed a win to put their title hopes back in their own hands. For Rosehill Utd, a win would all but secure the title.

The game was a very tight affair with only 4 goals scored in the whole match - 3 of which came in the 1st half.

Le Dream Team lead 2-0 after a bright start before Rosehill pulled one back before half time. The 2nd half was like a game of chess as both teams tried to find openings.

Rosehill were struggling to find that equaliser and were just seconds away from defeat until an ABSOLUTE LE NIGHTMARE MOMENT at the back for LDT as Man Of The Match Mintit pulled off a fine diving save to deny Rosehill a last second equaliser, however the ball bounced back off the wall and hit Doey (LDT defender) before rolling past the keeper into his own net! 

Rosehill Utd were in Le Dream Land as the final whistle sounded! A vital point which means Rosehill Utd's superior goal difference could win them the title.

Old Shieldz Battle To An Impressive 8-7 Win Over Hera Pheri!

This game premieres on YouTube at 9pm, Friday 10th May 2014

Hera Pheri came into this match absolutely buzzing from their outstanding victory over Rosehill Utd. However, they were facing a team that has also beaten Rosehill Utd this season - The Old Shieldz!

HP were given an immediate reality check as The Old Shieldz raced into a 6-1 first half lead in a commanding start to the game. Super Keeper Usy Baig was his animated self on the touchline as roared his team on from start to finish. 

Hera Pheri were much improved in the second half and battled back to 8-7 but ran out of time to claim any points in this match.

This match will premiere on YouTube - Thursday 9th May @9pm.

The Over 35s League has been epic this season with so many big teams and characters! All of these teams will fancy themselves next season for a title run.

Mani's Hera Pheri have beaten Top Of The Table Rosehill Utd in an epic 6-5 win on Wednesday night!

Rosehill have only lost once all season and were expected to pick up another 3 points however Hera Pheri have pulled off a famous win!

This end to end game had it all! Goals, penalties, yellow cards the lot!

Sajjad the HP keeper picked up the Man Of The Match award with a string of world class saves at crucial stages in the game.

PREMIERES FRIDAY 3/05 @ 7PM - This game is a must watch!

Stoaters Beat Still Game as a LEGEND RETURN!

The Slim Stoaters were without Jav & Nad on Wednesday night as they faced a rejuvenated Still Game under the new leadership of Mo. Stoaters went back to basics - defended well, worked as a group & got Mick the star striker on the ball who ALWAYS finishes his dinner! 

Still Game were always in the game and created a 'Stoaters squeaky bum time' moment with a late rally of goals. However, Man Of The Match Mick quickly restored Stoaters 2-goal cushion before holding on for the win! 

Stoaters only have one more league game left this season and of course their massive European Cup Final against Hera Pheri!   

The Stoater fans were out in record numbers as rumours circulated of a Stoaters Legend making his return to the pitch. Mosy (pictured top right) was greeted with a standing ovation from both set of fans as he entered the stadium which then ERUPTED as he came on mid way through the first half. 

Mosy made an immediate impact on the game showing strength in the middle of the park offering great balance to the team. Stoater fans will be hoping Captain Slim finds a spot for this Legend in the starting lineup for the final!

Unfortunately, we were unable to record this game due to Mosy 'celebrity like' profile.

The Old Shieldz gave a good account of themselves and battled hard. Super Keeper Captain Mr. Baig was simply world class between the sticks with save after save! 

Unfortunately, he picked up an injury the second half, during yet another sensational save, and had to leave the pitch.

This pretty much ended Old Shieldz chances of getting back into the game.

EPIC WEDNESDAY NIGHT AHEAD IN THE OVER 35'S!

Jeff has all the team news and info he shouldn't really have but this guy has got connections and moles in every team!

Jeff's Pre-Match Report:

The Stoaters are likely to be without superstar and key man Jav for their game against Still Game. Naddy De Bruyne is also carrying a knock and was ordered to rest for the Europa Cup Final but may now need to step in. Star Striker Mick has recovered from a midweek ballet injury and makes the starting lineup.     

If Mo was in charge of Still Game from the start of the season they would be up there competing for 3rd/4th spot. Mo has transformed the squad after poor management from the previous foreign owners. 

Le Dream Team, still suffering from having their Champions League Dreams kyboshed, are still without several key players but it doesn't matter ladies and gentleman because Vialli is BACK!

LDT MUST defeat the Old Shieldz if they are to have any chance of winning the title. However, The Old Shieldz are right up for this one after their 6-4 win over Boca's and are looking forward to getting their teeth right in amongst LDT and shattered their title hopes once and for all!

Rosehill Utd have a full squad with captain Tony returning having sorted out his priorities this week! Tony was photographed in a Glasgow Boozer on the same night Rosehill lost to Premier League Champions Cumnock. The Captain is expected to get a hostile reception from the fans although the boys forgive him and he retains the captain armband. 

On paper this looks like another 3 points for Rosehill Utd, however this is Mani & Hera Pheri we are talking about so anything can happen. Azim is in fine form and is raring to go.

Unfortunately, for Rosehill Utd, the ENTIRE LEAGUE will be hoping they drop points on Wednesday night. Will the pressure get to Rosehill on the night? Or is everyone just dreaming.

Match Report:

The Beechwood are in The BB Champions League Final after beating Le Dream Team 18 - 6 in their 2nd leg Semi-Final!

The Beechwood carried a 7-1 lead from the 1st leg into this match giving LDT a mountain to climb. Le Dream Team were without 6 key players and fielded their recent 2 signings. 

However, Ted showed no mercy by fielding a strong lineup and storming into a 7-1 lead. Some excellent football on display from the Player of The Match Rowan who now appears to be favourite to scoop the Player Of The Year award. Brandon was also on fine form tonight with some cracking runs that will be worth a watch back on Monday Night when the game premieres on Youtube! 

LDT new signing Duncan was carrying an injury but powered through the pain to make his debut. Tahir Bhatti had a really good game with his usual reliable ball retention and distribution. However, it was Eggy G that stole the show for the LDT with 4 well taken goals in perhaps his best performance of the season!

The Beechwood will now play The Beatables in this seasons Champions League Final.

Great Effort From Rosehill Utd Who Almost Pull Off Major Upset Over Premier League Champions!

This epic Friendly between the BB Premier League Champions Cumnock Boys & The Over 35's Table Topping Rosehill United premieres on Youtube at 10:30pm Friday Night!

The Cumnock Boys took full control of the game in the first half racing into a 6-1 lead. Credit to Tony's Rosehill who produced a excellent second half to get back into the game at 6-5 but ran out of time for the equaliser. Aqib was outstanding as he has been all season and proved too much to handle for Rosehill on the night. 

If the Rosehill Captain Tony was on the pitch they might just have pulled off an upset here! That calls for a rematch!

Rosehill have still got two EPIC CLASHES against Le Dream Team in the next couple weeks which will settle the debate of who the best team in the Over 35s League is this season!

Match Report:

It was Brother vs. Brother as Eggy's Le Dream Team faced Mani's Hera Pheri! 

A competitive, great game to watch as Le Dream Team picked up the valuable 3 points in the Big Bro Soccer Over 35s League.

LDT, who played with Minit in goals, lead 3-1 at half time thanks to a Vialli brace and Harry's fine effort. Azim yet again got on the scoresheet for Hera Pheri. 

The 2nd half was played at a higher intensity as Hera Pheri got back into it at 3-2 and chased the equaliser. However, Player Of The Match Doey, who was simply sensational on the night, was on hand to restore the 2 goal cushion and eventually the 5 -2 win!

Hera Pheri's title dreams may be over this season after their 2nd defeat in a week. They will need results to go their way to get back in the race. They can however challenge Old Shieldz for that 3rd spot. 

Le Dream next play on Sunday Night in their 2nd Leg Champions League Semi-Final vs. The Beechwood.

Match Report:

The Old Shieldz are back! Pundits were swaying towards a Boca Seniors win tonight given Old Shieldz haven't played a league game for almost three weeks! However, The Old Shieldz proved everyone wrong as they raced into a 4 goal lead in a superb first half showing! 

Boca's were without influential midfielder Ross which was telling on the night. Despite that massive loss, Boca's battled back into the game taking the scores to 5-4 setting up for an epic finish! However, it wasn't to be as The Old Shieldz tighten their grip on the game with another 2 goals to win 6 - 4! 

Alan for Old Shieldz was simply world class today and deservedly picked up the Player Of The Match Award! Old Shieldz are now favourites for that 3rd spot but could be  serious title contenders for next season with a couple new signings.

It's a big one this Wednesday night as Le Dream Team are back in league action against Mani's Hera Pheri. Both teams are chasing Rosehill Utd in the Big Bro Soccer Over 35s League. It's a MUST WIN for both teams to keep the challenge alive! 

It's also brother vs. brother - Mani vs. Eggy! Who will come out on top?!

Lee 'The Lion' misses out through injury during that bruising weekend defeat to Stoaters. This will be a massive loss for HP's defence. Mani's two new signings Christian & Jay are ineligible for this match.

Le Dream Team News:

Glasgow Legend Mintit returns to the starting line up, however LDT are rumored to be without a goal keeper for this huge clash!

Tahir Bhatti faces a late fitness test but is almost certain to miss out, which will be music to Mani's ears!

Match Report:

The game started slowly but picked up pace after the first goal. Overall, it was an entertaining match with plenty of goals.

Stoaters dominated with their strong defense and ability to build from the back. They played fast and aggressive football, controlling the pace by passing the ball around effectively.

Unfortunately, Hera Pheri lost despite having some good chances and solid build-up play. However, they couldn't capitalize on those opportunities. HP title dreams now hang in the balance. Their mid week game against Le Dream Team now becomes a MUST WIN GAME!

Jav picked up yet another Player Of The Match with an outstanding performance.

The rivalry that has built up between these two teams just adds that extra 'mirch masala' for the Europa Cup Final!

WILL LEE BE AVAILABLE FOR SUNDAYS NIGHTS MATCH AGAINST STOATERS??? The B.B FA are investigating an incident which took place 17 mins into Hera Pheri vs Still Game from Thursday Night. No further information is available at this time however we do understand the FA are not impressed with some of the Hera Pheri defending from 'The Lion' as they look to protect players safety at all times.

Stoaters Seek Revenge

It's the big one this Sunday night as The Europa Cup Finalist Stoaters & Hera Pheri face off again after that epic 24 - 4 HP win last week! Both these teams have been looking forward to this game all week and have full squads to choose from. However, Lee 'The Lion' is currently being investigated by the BB FA and may miss out. The Beechwood Have One Foot In The Final

The Beechwood have one foot in the Champions League Final! The 1st leg went to plan for Ted's Premier League runners up as they dominate the first half before playing the second half in cruise control. A much improved second half from LDT which is something they can build on going into the 2nd leg. Elsewhere, The Beatables are through to the Final and awaiting the winners of this tie! Next week we have an epic friendly lined up as Rosehill Utd take on The Cumnock Boys!

End To End Game Ends In A Draw Between Stoaters & Bocas!

Hera Pheri battled from 6-1 down to win 8-7 keeping their title dreams alive thanks to a last minute goal from superstar Azim!

Elsewhere, Stoaters were much improved as they battled from 4 -2 down to lead the match 7 - 6 in the dying minutes however that beautiful left foot of Ross strikes again as Bocas got a deserved point from the game.

The 'Arab Prince' was handed the armband in the absence of Slim and made a huge call by dropping goal machine Mick as he opted to field a more defensive looking side to start.

It proved a shrewd move from the Prince as the Stoaters almost claimed all three points. 

Mick was back to his best playing his part for the team as Stoaters looked to have patched their internal issues up in time for the cup final.

'Match Of The Season' Contender Azim Inspires Amazing Comeback To Keep Title Dreams Alive!

WHAT A GAME! One of the games of the seasons and MUST WATCH on YouTube!

Still Game looked AWESOME in the first half as they banged in 5 beauties to lead Hera Pheri 6-1 midway through the first half! 

However, with only 1 goal in the 2nd half, Still Game were holding on for dear life! 

Hera Pheri battled their way back into the match thanks to the inspirational 'player of the year' nominee Azim who fired in 5 goals to level the scores 7-7! 

Then the drama....PENALTY AWARDED Hera Pheri with minutes to go...step forward Azim..."HE'S PUT IT WIDE OF THE MARK!! UNBELIEVABLE DOUGIE!" He did however make up for it grabbing the winner moments later! 

SHOCKING RESULT! Stoaters Get STOATERED By Mani's Hera Pheri!

WOW! Hera Pheri absolutely DESTROYED The Stoaters on Sunday in the Big Bro Soccer Over 35s League! HP managed by the experienced Mani (centre within image) said he was absolutely delighted with the boys and wanted to send a message to Rosehill & Le Dream- "WE'RE COMIMG FOR YOU NEXT"HP have still to face Le Dream Team 3 times and Rosehill twice! Can HP actually go on to win the leagie title?! HP & Stoaters shall meet again this Sunday in the league before the Europa Cup Final so this rivalry isn't over just yet...

The Cumnock Boys (The A-Team plus Mehran) appear to be playing the biggest game of the season without a sub! Will that decision come back to haunt them?!
